On July 11, 2021, theologian Sara Wenger Shenk preaches at a Park View Mennonite Church Sunday morning service from Ephesians 4:1-6; 14-16 and based on her book "Tongue-Tied: Learning the Lost Art of Talking About Faith".
Sara was named President Emerita by the AMBS Board of Directors in April 2020. She was a member of the faculty and administration of Eastern Mennonite Seminary for 15 years. She and her husband, Gerald, served as students and teachers in the former Yugoslavia. She has written extensively in both academic and church publications.

Sarah Ann Bixler was ordained into the ministry of Virginia Mennonite
Conference last year and was recently named associate dean of Eastern
Mennonite Seminary. Sarah spent a decade in ministry in the Shenandoah
Valley before beginning studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. At
Princeton, she was instrumental in launching new programs in church
planting and revitalization and women clergy leadership education.
